Two women became trapped on rocks at the lower falls of Aysgarth. The team worked with North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to locate them and guide them safely along a lower ledge to secure ground.

A family and their dog became stuck in dense gorse near Bel Tor Corner on Dartmoor after following an overgrown path. Team members used pruning shears to cut through the vegetation and free them safely. The family and dog sustained only minor scratches from the gorse thorns.

West Cornwall Search & Rescue assisted Devon & Cornwall Police in searching for a high-risk missing person with dementia in the Cusgarne area. The person was located by a member of the public and safely reunited with their family.

A black Labrador became critically ill after apparently ingesting discarded cannabis during a hike on Ben Nevis in early July. The Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team stretchered the unconscious dog down from the mountain to a local veterinary clinic in Fort William, where she made a full recovery.

A walker was reported overdue from Scafell Pike after his wife contacted police. The missing person was located safe in a different location than expected and made his own way back to his vehicle.

A couple became lost in fog on Broad Crag and were unable to safely return to the main path despite guidance from the MRT Team Leader. Duddon & Furness MRT assisted by deploying six members to walk them off the hill, and they were safely escorted down without injury.

A male walker reported being lost on Styhead Path, Great Gable on 30 June 2026, with his call dropping out before reconnecting via Cumbria Police and iPhone Emergency SOS. MRT deployed and located him with assistance from two wild campers who were guiding him down. The walker was accompanied back to his vehicle uninjured.

A couple walking the Wastwater Screes with their two Bernese Mountain Dogs became stuck when the dogs refused to continue across the boulder field. Six MRT members responded and deployed the Wasdale Boat to transport the couple and dogs across the lake to safety.

A male walker fell and dislocated his shoulder in Foxes Tarn Gully on Scafell. Multiple rescue services including helicopter support were deployed; the casualty was treated on scene, lowered by rope stretcher down the gully, and then airlifted to West Cumberland Hospital.

A young man became exhausted and unable to continue walking along a footpath near the River Eden in Lazonby. He had called for help while experiencing distress, but subsequently made his own way back to the road and was collected by a friend before the team's assessment was complete.

A 16-year-old male walker became exhausted due to heat whilst on Red Tarn and was unable to continue. Penrith Mountain Rescue Team provided phone support and reassurance to enable him to safely descend to Glenridding.

An 87-year-old blind military veteran became exhausted at Half Way Lochan on Ben Nevis during a charity climb on 27 June 2026 and required assistance from Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team, who evacuated him using an all-terrain vehicle. The Princess of Wales was higher on the mountain at the time and was made aware of the rescue through radio communications.

A 19-year-old died after entering the water at Ystradfellte waterfalls in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park on 27 June. Multiple emergency services attended and attempted resuscitation, but the person could not be saved. Central Beacons Mountain Rescue coordinated the multi-agency response alongside police, ambulance, fire services, and Wales Air Ambulance.

A 55-year-old woman slipped on a waterfall at Scaleber Force near Settle and was assisted by paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The casualty was treated at the scene and walked back to the waiting ambulance.
