Beinn Liath Mòr and Beinn Eighe, Torridon
Torridon Mountain Rescue Team responded to two simultaneous emergencies on Saturday: a hypothermic hiker lost near the summit of Beinn Liath Mòr was winched to safety by Inverness Coastguard helicopter and airlifted to Raigmore Hospital, whilst a second group of walkers who lost the path descending Beinn Eighe were safely guided down by team members.
Outcome: hypothermic casualty airlifted to hospital; second group guided safely to their car
