Two swimmers became trapped for three hours in a gorge at Finnich Glen near Killearn while canyoning through the Carnock Burn. They were unable to climb out of the 80-foot gorge and were rescued by Lomond Mountain Rescue Team with assistance from police and Scottish Fire and Rescue. The woman was suffering from mild hypothermia but both casualties were checked by paramedics and released.
