High Stile Ridge, Buttermere
A walker lost in deteriorating conditions on High Stile Ridge near Buttermere was located and safely escorted off the fell by Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team. The rescue involved 13 team members who ascended via Red Pike and took approximately five-and-a-half hours to bring the casualty to safety.
