Gowbarrow Fell
A man fell 12 metres from Gowbarrow Fell on Friday, 19 June at approximately 1pm. He was assessed and treated by Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team medical personnel at the scene. The casualty was winched to safety by Coastguard helicopter and airlifted to a major trauma unit by air ambulance.
