A hillwalker sustained a lower leg injury while hiking near Scald Law in the Pentlands on 15 October 2024. The Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team, paramedics, and coastguard responded; the casualty was evacuated by Scottish Ambulance Service using an all-terrain vehicle and was off the hill by 1.50pm.
