A paraglider crashed on Gelligaer Common near Deri and was attended by Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, Welsh Ambulance Services HART, and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. The casualty was fully immobilised and evacuated by stretcher to the roadside for transfer by ambulance to the major trauma centre in Cardiff.
