Levers Water

A walker suffered heat exhaustion at Levers Water on a warm afternoon and was unable to continue. The rescue team assessed him, provided fluids and shade, and stretchered him to vehicles for transport to the base where he recovered sufficiently to rest at a local hotel.

Outcome: casualty stretchered to base, recovered and rested at hotel

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
