A dog fell from a cliff near Angel Tarn at Buck Crag in the Lake District on 7 July and was rescued by Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team. After an initial search located the animal wedged between rocks, a full team operation using a 100-metre twin rope system was deployed. The dog was successfully retrieved with only minor injury and reunited with its owners.
