A mountain biker sustained a fracture dislocation of his ankle on a steep mountainside above Ynysddu on 12 March 2023. Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team provided pain relief and splinted immobilisation before carrying him by stretcher off the mountain for hospital transport.

Outcome: casualty evacuated by stretcher to hospital
