Scarth Gap, Haystacks
A walker sustained significant chest and back injuries after a fall whilst descending Haystacks on Scarth Gap on Friday, 13 June. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team and the Coastguard attended, stabilised the casualty, and evacuated them by helicopter to hospital.
Outcome: airlifted to hospital by Coastguard helicopter
