A walker suffered a suspected lower back injury after a fall near Warnscale Beck in the Lake District on 18 July. The casualty was treated by Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team, carried to the lakeshore at Buttermere, and airlifted by Coastguard Rescue 897 to Cumberland Infirmary.
Outcome: airlifted to hospital by helicopter
