Black Sail Pass, Ennerdale Valley
A walker sustained a suspected broken ankle while descending Black Sail Pass in the Ennerdale Valley and was rescued by Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team. The casualty was treated on scene, stretchered back to Black Sail Youth Hostel, and then transferred to an ambulance at Bowness Knott car park.
Outcome: casualty treated and evacuated by stretcher to ambulance
