A 17-year-old girl fainted while completing a Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition at Laddow Rocks near Crowden on 13 September 2023. She was assisted by Glossop Mountain Rescue Team and evacuated by stretcher by Oldham Mountain Rescue Team to Dovestones sailing club, where she was assessed by a team doctor.

Outcome: casualty evacuated by stretcher and assessed by team doctor
