Dovestones, Saddleworth; Ashway waterfalls
Two lost walkers were found hypothermic and in distress near Ashway waterfalls in the Dovestones area of Saddleworth. The Oldham Mountain Rescue Team located them using PhoneFind technology, provided shelter and medical assessment, and evacuated them on foot after their condition improved following over an hour of care.
Outcome: both walkers walked off hill uninjured after treatment and recovery, handed to ambulance service
