Coniston Old Man

A gentleman slipped and injured his knee whilst descending from the summit of Coniston Old Man. He was assessed by the team, his leg splinted, and he was stretchered to a helicopter landing on the ridge for transport to Furness General Hospital.

Outcome: casualty airlifted to Furness General Hospital by helicopter
