Honister Slate Mine / Coniston area
A walker on a long walk reported feeling unwell to his wife, who contacted North West Ambulance Service. Unable to locate him due to poor signal, NWAS requested mountain rescue assistance. The walker was eventually confirmed safe and well at Honister Slate Mine.
