lost hillwalkers Highlands
Ben Venue, Trossachs
Four hillwalkers became lost while descending the north side of Ben Venue in the Trossachs on Tuesday night. Lomond Mountain Rescue Team members were called out and escorted the group safely back to their vehicle at Loch Achray. The team highlighted that the north side descent is significantly more challenging than other routes and requires strong navigation skills.
