Fall/Suspension Rescue Brecon Beacons

Bannau Brycheiniog National Park

Mountain rescue teams were called out after two walkers became stranded in the waterfalls area of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. One walker was found dangling upside down above a 20-foot drop, requiring a complex rope rescue operation to bring them to safety.

Outcome: The casualty was safely rescued and treated for a suspected lower leg injury.

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
