A walker injured their ankle while walking the Dove Stone circular route near Greenfield on 8 March 2024. Oldham Mountain Rescue Team located the casualty at Birchen Clough, provided initial assessment, and carried them by stretcher to a waiting land ambulance for transfer to hospital.
Outcome: casualty evacuated by stretcher to hospital
