Whinlatter Pass
A car lost control on icy Whinlatter Pass and rolled approximately 40 metres down a bank into a beck. The driver escaped serious injury and walked away from the scene. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team attended alongside emergency services and the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
Outcome: driver walked away uninjured
