Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team attended two incidents on 20 May 2024. First, a walker who fell at Sgwd yr Eira Waterfall with hip pain was assisted out of the gorge and taken to hospital. Later the same evening, a mountain bike rider who fell approximately four metres at Bike Park Wales with a fractured femur was evacuated by stretcher.

Outcome: both casualties evacuated to hospital by ambulance
