Brecon Mountain Rescue Team responded to two separate incidents on Pen y Fan within a week in June 2024. On 15 June, a missing walker was located by event organisers and safely escorted off the hill. On 22 June, a casualty with head and knee injuries was treated and transported to medical assistance.
