An 80-year-old man sustained facial, shoulder, rib and head injuries after falling whilst descending Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons on Sunday afternoon. Brecon Mountain Rescue Team and Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team worked together to treat him and evacuate him by stretcher to a waiting ambulance.

Outcome: casualty treated and evacuated by stretcher to ambulance
