A man was rescued from a mountain above Aberdare after spending the night in sub-zero temperatures unable to raise the alarm. A passer-by alerted emergency services, and a joint operation involving South Wales Police, Central Beacons Mountain Rescue, and the Welsh Ambulance Service brought him to safety. He was treated for prolonged hypothermia.
