A man slipped whilst walking in Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons on 22 May and sustained a significant head injury. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was airlifted by the Wales Air Ambulance to hospital in Cardiff, where he was reported to be in a stable condition with a promising outlook.
