Tandle Hill country park

Oldham Mountain Rescue Team assisted North West Ambulance Service in rescuing an elderly woman who had collapsed near the trig point at Tandle Hill country park on Sunday lunchtime. The team placed her on a stretcher and transported her to the waiting ambulance. Thirteen team members were involved in the operation, which lasted two hours.

Outcome: casualty transferred to ambulance

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
