A 42-year-old man died after falling approximately 100 feet into a gorge on Stob Ban during Storm Dennis while on a winter hills training course. The incident occurred in severe weather conditions with winds gusting over 50 mph, and the casualty was recovered by the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team after a challenging rescue operation.
