A person entered the River Avon near Mythe Road in Tewkesbury on Friday evening 19 December. Multiple emergency services including police, fire and rescue, and the National Police Air Service conducted searches of the fast-flowing river, which was at heightened levels due to heavy rain. The person had not been located as of the search continuation on 21 December.
