A mountain biker was seriously injured after falling from his bike at Glentress Forest near Peebles on Sunday afternoon. Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team, Scottish Ambulance Service, and HM Coastguard responded, and the casualty was airlifted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary by helicopter.
