A man injured his ankle while trekking in Alkrington Woods, Middleton, and was located by Oldham Mountain Rescue Team using Phone Find technology. He was assessed by paramedics and air ambulance medics, then carried by stretcher to an ambulance for transfer to hospital. The search involved fifteen team members and lasted 2.5 hours.
