A pupil broke his ankle after falling from a pathway during a charity walk near Ystradfellte. He was airlifted to hospital by Central Beacons Mountain Rescue volunteers and later recovered sufficiently to present the team with a £700 cheque raised during the walk.

Outcome: casualty airlifted to Prince Charles Hospital
