Three callouts were attended during mid-to-late June and early July. Callout 22 near Barrowford was stood down, callout 23 involved a stretcher carry for an ankle injury near Rawtenstall, and callout 24 saw a mountain biker evacuated from Lee Mill Quarry.
Outcome: casualty evacuated by stretcher; casualty splinted and extracted to ambulance

The team received two calls from North West Ambulance Service on 7 June. Both incidents were located outside the team's area and were handled by neighbouring teams (Oldham and Bolton), though one team member assisted at the first location where a casualty was being transferred to the air ambulance.
Outcome: casualty assisted to air ambulance
May 2026
1 incident Medical assistance/Loss of consciousness Pennines
The team was called out to assist near Bull Hill when a walker was reported to have lost consciousness on the hillside. After initial assessment, the casualty was met at a nearby farm and subsequently transported safely back to their vehicles.
Outcome: Good outcome; casualty safely transported off the hill.

1 incident Medical assistance/Rescue Pennines
The team responded to several calls over the past few weeks, including an initial call regarding people in the water which was later confirmed as a hoax. They also attended to a medical casualty near the Nick of Pendle and assisted with the evacuation of another individual with a serious lower leg injury at a motocross event.
Outcome: Casualty assessed and evacuated; support required for access.
