A man sustained an ankle fracture after being knocked over by a puppy during a walk in Nidd Gorge. Working with Yorkshire Ambulance Service, the team provided casualty care and carried him by stretcher to the waiting ambulance.

A man in his 50s suffered a suspected stroke while in Trollers Gill. The team assisted Yorkshire Ambulance Service by transporting paramedics into the gorge, locating the casualty, and establishing a landing site. The casualty was stretchered out and airlifted to hospital by Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

A 47-year-old man fell from his mobility scooter on a track near Knaresborough and sustained an ankle injury preventing weight-bearing. Working with Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics, the team recovered him and his scooter to the track, where he was assessed and stretchered to hospital. The team also returned his mobility scooter to his vehicle and delivered his keys to him at A&E.

A 52-year-old female cyclist came off her bicycle in Timble Woods and sustained a shoulder injury. Following pain relief, she was walked out to a waiting ambulance.

A 60-year-old man became unable to continue walking near Gargrave and was assisted by the team working with Yorkshire Ambulance Service. The casualty was transported safely by Fell 2 to the roadside where an ambulance continued his care.

A male cyclist sustained a chest injury after falling from his mountain bike. With assistance from the team and Yorkshire Ambulance, he was able to walk to the ambulance and was handed over to ambulance care.

A 15-year-old male climber became cragfast on Four O'Clock Rock at Brimham Rocks and was unable to descend safely. Although uninjured, he required assistance from the rescue team to return to the ground.

A 53-year-old woman fell into a river and sustained suspected wrist and ankle injuries. She was out of the water when emergency services arrived. The team assisted in a stretcher evacuation across difficult terrain to a waiting ambulance.

A 41-year-old female was evacuated after falling from her horse near East Marton in boggy terrain approximately 1.2 miles from the nearest road. Team members assisted a Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedic to stretcher the casualty across the field and transfer her to an ambulance for onward care.

A team was requested by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the extrication of a casualty in Riffa Woods on 13 June 2026. Team members and specialist vehicles worked alongside ambulance colleagues to carefully extract the casualty from the remote woodland location and transfer them for onward medical care.

A report was received of a sheep stranded on the River Aire embankment beneath a railway bridge near Skipton. A team of Water Technicians attended and conducted a thorough search but found no sheep in distress, concluding it had moved on or the report was unfounded.

North Yorkshire Police requested assistance in searching for a high-risk missing person in the Grassington area. The casualty was located safe and well in a location away from the original search area.

A 15-year-old male fell from rocks at Brimham Rocks and sustained a back injury. The casualty was able to walk and was already receiving ambulance care when the team arrived.

A team was called out by YAS to assist an individual who had fallen while walking on Sharphaw, sustaining a deep cut to the knee. Prompt assessment and care were provided before the casualty was handed over to paramedics for onward transport.

A search operation was conducted over two days at Threshfield Quarry following reports of a missing dog. Despite extensive excavation work in challenging conditions, no confirmed signs of the dog were found, and the operation was concluded due to increasing safety risks.

The team was called out to the Cow and Calf Ilkley by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist a lady who had fallen. Paramedics assessed her injuries on scene, determining that the fall was likely less severe than initially reported and diagnosing an isolated leg injury.

Mountain rescue teams were called out to assist with a casualty who had fallen near White Wells in Ilkley. Due to the challenging terrain, multiple agencies worked together to carry the patient a short distance across difficult ground to reach an awaiting ambulance.

Mountain Rescue teams assisted with a challenging underground dog rescue that took place on the North York Moors. The dog had fallen deep into a narrow rift system, requiring careful technical work in extremely confined conditions to safely retrieve her.

The team assisted Yorkshire Ambulance with the extraction of a 74-year-old female who had sustained an open ankle fracture after falling in woodland. Following initial treatment at the scene, she was subsequently stretchered to the waiting ambulance.

The team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to search for a high-risk missing person near Starbottom in the Hawkswick area. After initial searches proved unsuccessful, the casualty was eventually located through a systematic search of the fell and subsequently handed over to an ambulance for care.

The team was called out to assist with a stretcher carry from the summit of Ingleborough down to Chapel le Dale due to two walkers experiencing difficulties in atrocious weather. Despite initial requests for air support being unsuccessful due to severe conditions, both casualties were safely evacuated by ground crew and handed over to the ambulance service.

A 45-year-old woman sustained an ankle injury following a fall near Scar House Reservoir. The initial emergency call was made via Apple's Emergency SOS via satellite. The casualty was evacuated by the team and Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who drove her to hospital for assessment and treatment.

A male casualty with a broken leg was rescued from How Stean Gorge after North Yorkshire Police called out the team. The casualty was assessed, loaded onto a rescue sled, and successfully extracted from the gorge before being handed over to an awaiting ambulance.
