multiple avoidable callouts — unprepared walkers in severe weather Snowdonia
Carneddau and Glyderau mountains, Eryri (Snowdonia)
Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation responded to three separate callouts in the Carneddau and Glyderau mountains between 15–16 September during stormy weather. All three incidents involved walkers who were either unaware of weather warnings or inadequately prepared for the conditions; all casualties were safely assisted off the mountain.
Outcome: all casualties rewarmed, provided equipment/food, and safely escorted down
