Waterloo Monument, south of Dumfries

Moffat Mountain Rescue Team responded to a walker with an ankle injury at Waterloo Monument south of Dumfries. The casualty was unable to weight bear and was assessed as possibly having a broken ankle. The team provided pain relief and stabilisation before evacuating the casualty by stretcher to an ambulance for transport to hospital.
