family stuck on steep ground Lake District
Sour Milk Gill, Buttermere
A family became stranded on steep terrain beside Sour Milk Gill in Buttermere on 13 June. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team deployed 16 members who located the walkers and safely escorted them by ascending to the main path and descending to the lakeshore.
