family stuck on steep ground Lake District

A family became stuck on steep and technical ground while walking alongside Sour Milk Gill near Buttermere in the Lake District. Cockermouth Mountain Rescue team located them and safely escorted them uphill to join the main path, then guided them down to the lake shore. The operation took 1.5 hours and involved 16 team members.
