Snowdon, Trinity gullies
A climber fell approximately 30 metres down Trinity gullies on Snowdon during an avalanche, sustaining a lower leg injury. A seven-hour rescue operation involving mountain rescue volunteers, search dogs, and a coastguard helicopter was launched in hazardous snow conditions, with the casualty ultimately winched to safety by helicopter. A second incident saw a couple rescued from the Llanberis path after becoming stranded in snow and cold.
