Snowdon, Pyg Track
A Malamute dog named Storm suffered skinned paws on rough terrain while walking the Pyg Track on Snowdon and was carried off the mountain by Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team volunteers. A vet accompanying the rescue party provided pain relief and dressed the wounds before the dog was transported to Pen y Pass. The operation lasted approximately three hours.
