A party of six walkers reported themselves lost on Broad Crag on 19 June 2026, with initial phone contact lost during their 999 call. After brief reconnection, they indicated they were on the Corridor Route and had parked at Seathwaite. The team stood down after police later confirmed the group had safely descended and were uninjured.
