stranded walkers with injury Snowdonia Serious incident
Glyder Fach
Two walkers became stranded on Glyder Fach in February during heavy snow and poor visibility after descending the wrong route with an injured companion. Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue located them by following footprints in the snow and safely evacuated both casualties to their base, with one requiring rope assistance due to injury.
Outcome: both walkers evacuated safely by OVMRO
