Ben Cruachan, Argyll
A woman fell approximately 300 feet into a ravine on Ben Cruachan while descending with her family. Her 10-year-old son climbed down to her, called for help, and kept her conscious until Oban Mountain Rescue Team arrived. She was winched from the mountain by helicopter and evacuated to hospital in Glasgow.
Outcome: casualty evacuated by helicopter to hospital
