A 64-year-old female walker on the Three Peaks Challenge sustained an ankle injury on Whernside and was unable to bear weight. The team assessed and splinted her ankle, then stretchered her down to Kingsdale where she was met by friends for transport to hospital.
Outcome: casualty stretchered down and transported to hospital for treatment
