A walker fell on the Corridor Route in the Lake District on 12 July, sustaining a suspected fractured kneecap and reporting tingling in her foot. She was treated on site and airlifted by air ambulance to a waiting land ambulance in a six-hour rescue operation involving Wasdale, Cockermouth, and Duddon and Furness mountain rescue teams.
