Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team responded to a group of paddle boarders in difficulty on Ullswater. Two females were recovered from the water suffering from mild hypothermia and transferred to the ambulance service; the remainder of the group had reached the shore safely.
Outcome: two casualties recovered and treated for mild hypothermia, discharged at scene
