Hollowstones, Scafell Pike
A male walker sustained an ankle injury on Hollowstones, Scafell Pike and was unable to continue descending unaided. Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team deployed and provided support, eventually packaging the casualty for stretcher evacuation to the car park. He was handed over to friends and advised to attend hospital for further assessment.
Outcome: casualty evacuated by stretcher, handed to friends at roadhead and advised to attend hospital
