Lingmell Col, Scafell Pike
A male hiker suffering severe cramp became unable to descend from Lingmell Col on Scafell Pike. Cumbria Police alerted the mountain rescue team, who assessed him on scene and provided food, fluids, and rest. The casualty recovered sufficiently to walk down with support and was discharged at Wasdale Head Inn.
Outcome: casualty walked off uninjured after rest and support
