Scafell Pike
A male casualty with a knee injury was unable to walk on the summit of Scafell Pike. MRT members were airlifted closer to the summit by Coastguard Rescue 336, assessed and packaged the casualty, and began stretcher evacuation. Once below cloud base, the helicopter successfully landed and lifted the casualty to the car park, where he was collected by family.
Outcome: casualty evacuated by helicopter to car park and collected by family
