Fairy Glen, Betws-y-Coed

Two separate incidents occurred at Fairy Glen, Betws-y-Coed within two days. On 21 July, a boulderer fell 7 metres and sustained a spinal injury, requiring technical rope rescue and evacuation to hospital. On 22 July, three kayakers entered the water near the same location; one was taken to hospital following a multi-agency response.
